In this conversation, Renn and I, explore the contributions of Stan Grof towards the field of Transpersonal Psychology with the development of the Cartography of the Psyche.
The Cartography of the Psyche maps the experiences around the birth process that remain imprinted in everybody’s psyche. These clusters of experiences with very distinctive emotional and archetypal tones are called Perinatal Matrices. They each seem to have a very strong connection with a particular planetary archetypal and this is where astrology enters the mix to make things even more interesting!
As we dive deeper into the conversation, Ren and I, bring all this into the context of healing sessions provided by Holotropic Breathwork, entheogenic substances, and assisted psychotherapy.
